In 2013 Australian New York City resident Yael Stone was the inmate playing 'Lorna Morello' in Orange Is the New Black. Yael holds a master's qualification from NIDA. Yael was fortunate enough at a young stage to be a part of the best storytellers and performers in Australia and creative directors in the film, TV and theatre fields. Yael is a well-known actress across Australia. A continuing collaboration with Australia's much-lauded director Neil Armfield culminated in the internationally-renowned production Diary of a Madman, in which she starred opposite Academy- Emmy- and Tony Award-winning actor Geoffrey Rush. Yael's journey to New York City began when the production received a prestigious review at Brooklyn Academy of Music. Yael was co-founder at The Cannery. The Cannery promotes creative writing, and creative endeavors from it's Bushwick studio.
