Geena Davis
Geena Davies is an American actress and producer who is also a writer, a women's rights advocate, and woman's rights activist. Her work has received praise for her many television appearances as well as her various roles in Hollywood. Before coming to films her previous roles included fashion model, and was a member of semi-finalist Team of Women's Archery in Olympics. Her passion for music since in her childhood led her to learn the piano and flute. She was an organist in a church in Wareham. Then she moved from Wareham to New York City after graduating from Boston University with a degree in acting. She was required to put in a lot of effort as well as work in odd jobs for a while before getting her first chance in acting. She was a model for many years before making her film debut, 'Tootsie.' This was in the year 1982. In addition, she appeared in a variety of Television serials and later had a successful acting career as well as winning the Oscar Award for her movie "The Accidental Traveler". The Golden Globe Award was also awarded to her for her part in an American show on television. Reza is her husband, and she has three children with him: one son, a daughter and a granddaughter. She also is active on a number of issues related to social justice.
